COMPETITIONS AND CATEGORIES

Kumite tournament in U22 weight categories (18–22 years old). The category assignment is determined by the year of birth.

· Year of birth: 2004–2008 (athletes who have turned 18 years old)

· Men: −75 kg, +75 kg

· Women: −60 kg, +60 kg

· Fight time: 2’ + 2’ + 2’

Full contact karate – fights conducted according to EKO regulations. All kicking techniques are allowed to the jodan area.

Required protectors: shin and foot protectors, groin protector, and chest protector for women.

In the second overtime, the victory may be decided by a weight difference of at least 7 kg in favor of the lighter athlete.

18:00 – 19:00 - Finals during the Kokoro Cup Gala
