European Kudo Championship 2026

1. Participation

Each country or region may enter 1 team and up to 2 competitors per category. The host country (Bulgaria) may enter up to 4 competitors per category.
Only athletes registered through a KIF-recognized National Federation and in the KMS system are eligible to participate.
Branch Chiefs are responsible for ensuring that all membership registrations, affiliation fees, renewals, and Dan/Kyu grading fees have been completed before submitting entries.
Each competitor must present:a Medical Certificate issued within 30 days before the competition, confirming they are fit to compete;
valid Life/Accident Insurance covering the competition period.

The European Kudo Championship will take place in Sofia, Bulgaria, at Sports Hall "Sofia".

Competitions will be held in the following individual divisions:

Age divisions:

Official KUDO protective equipment is mandatory for all Adult and U-18 competitors.

Each competitor must have:

one white Gi;
one blue Gi (if unavailable, the Chief Referee will make a decision on site).

Groin protectors (men), chest protectors (women), and mouthguards may be of any brand.
